I was asked if I would like to help with a Memorial for Belladonne.

I really wanted to be a part of this so, I did.

Here is the color scheme, which the memorial was based on

Fortunately, I had been working on some elements and papers and the colors worked well

with the swatch. I hope my part will be a small thanks in her memory.

I worked at trying to create a vintage feel, since

Belladonne's work often gave that impression.

I will miss seeing her participation in the challenges.

August Challenge at Heritage Scraps - My Favorite Things

Hi Everyone

It's Ann from StarSongStudio back with another Favorites Challenge for August.

This month's theme is My Favorite Heritage Layout. In honor of the Heritage Scrap Birthday Celebration, you are being asked to share your favorite heritage layout. This month, You can use any and all products in your layout; they do not have to be products by the Heritage Scrap designers.
So browse through your layouts or if you are inspired create a brand new one for our contest. Post it in the gallery with your credits and then come back to this thread and show us a picture of your layout and include a link to it in the gallery. Just a note here that in order for your photo to show up in this thread, it must be 300 or under pixels in width. Please include a note in this thread, telling us why you picked this particular layout. Is it in memory of a person that was very special in your life? Does it represent some of your best scrapping. Perhaps you tried a new technique in making this layout which was especially effective.

Contest ends the last day in August at which time, a winner will be picked at random at random.org. A very special prize awaits our winner and I will have a participation prize for everyone who joins in.
